Kuala Lumpur: CIMB today unveiled the CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite-i Credit Card for CIMB Preferred customers. The CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite-i allows customers to enjoy the same privileges as the conventional Preferred credit card, with added benefits of an Islamic credit card exclusively designed for the needs of affluent individuals. The card includes distinct benefits that are aligned to positive values, centred around the three main pillars of Protection, Conservation and Rewards.

Guided by its focus on Protection, the credit card offers premium Takaful protection including coverage of RM1 million for travel, RM100,000 for personal accidents and up to RM10,000 for outstanding card balances. On top of that, CIMB is the first to introduce extended protection of RM100 per day in hospital allowance, a Badal Haji benefit of RM3,000 and Qurban contribution of RM750.

 

Meanwhile, the CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite-i Credit Card offers 8X Bonus Points for contributions to Zakat and selected charitable causes, which can be redeemed for family holidays or Umrah packages. Cardholders can also make a difference by converting their bonus points into donations to new charities and Waqf. The launch of the CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite-i Credit Card took place at the inaugural edition of the Bazar Siberturahim Fashion Fest, a fashion and lifestyle showcase event presented by CIMB Preferred in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, with an engaging series of fashion shows and a curated shopping experience held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 3 – 6 March 2022. The event showcases more than 20 local fashion and lifestyle brands such as Radzuan Radziwill, Cosry, Anuar Faizal and many more. 

 

1 The Visa Consumer Payment Attitudes Study 2021 on Islamic Banking was conducted by CLEAR on behalf of Visa in October 2021 across twelve cities in Malaysia.  The total sample size is 995 aged 18 – 65, covering all education groups with a minimum monthly personal income of MYR 2,000.
